Before we talk about healing, let’s clear something up:

You are not broken.
Your body is not failing you.
And nothing is “wrong” with you.

Healing isn’t about fixing.
It’s about releasing what’s been blocking the light that’s already there.

Everything is energy—including thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and memories.

When emotions are felt, processed, and allowed to move through us, energy flows.
But when emotions are suppressed, overwhelming, or unsafe to express—especially during stressful or traumatic moments—that energy doesn’t disappear.

It stays in the body.

Unprocessed emotional energy can become stagnant, and over time it may show up as:

  • chronic tension

  • fatigue

  • recurring symptoms

  • pain with no clear physical cause

  • immune or digestive issues

  • anxiety or low-grade depression
     

This doesn’t mean something is wrong.
It means the body is responding intelligently to what it has lived through.

We absorb information in many ways—
through reading, reflection, imagery, and feeling.
Music is simply one more language of understanding.

Releasing the Light means setting it free from within—
so your inner Divine Light can rise and shine.

In our last Wellness Wednesday, we explored why the body holds on —
how unprocessed emotions, beliefs, memories, and survival responses can become stored energy.

Today, we explore something equally important:

How the body releases.

Through:

  • processing stuck emotions

  • consciously shifting beliefs

  • forgiveness

  • releasing inherited and generational patterns

  • gentle awareness

  • and sometimes… with just a magnet 😉
     

But always through safety, awareness, and permission.

Healing Happens When Energy Can Move Again -

At the most fundamental level, we are energetic beings having a physical experience.

Our nervous system operates through electrical signals.
Our thoughts and emotions generate chemical and energetic responses.
Our bodies respond not just to what happens—but to how it’s processed.

When energy flows, the system self-regulates.
When energy becomes blocked, compressed, or frozen—symptoms arise.

Release-based healing works by restoring movement, safety, and flow across the mind, body, and energy systems.

Wizer says:

“Nothing’s wrong with you.
You’ve just been carrying things that have overstayed their lease.
Eviction notice given. Energy may now move freely.”

When the system feels safer and freer, the body can begin to heal itself in ways that often surprise people. This is wellness in its truest sense — supporting the whole system, not just managing symptoms.

That’s where release-based healing comes in — techniques that don’t ask you to relive everything endlessly, but instead help your system gently let go of what it no longer needs to carry.

Today’s Releasing the Light focuses on three powerful modalities that work beneath the surface — each in its own unique way.

Welcome to a new chapter of Wake Up Wizer Wednesdays — where Releasing the Light now comes wrapped in whimsical, heartfelt, and wise little adventures starring our favorite enlightened llama.

If you’ve been with me here on Substack for a while, you may already recognize Wizer (rhymes with wiser, because… well… he kinda is). He’s the whimsical, wise little voice who tends to pop up throughout my posts with playful Wizerisms — those lighthearted, soul-tapping reminders that gently nudge us back toward truths we sometimes forget.

From time to time, Wizer will now be guiding us through playful fictional stories that shine a light on releasing energetic blocks, letting go of old emotional weight, and rediscovering the natural brilliance that already lives within us. This is the first of many Wizer-led releasing adventures, and I hope his humor, heart, and cosmic nudges bring a little extra lightness to your day.

Over the past few Releasing the Light posts, we’ve explored how emotions, beliefs, and experiences can become stored in the body as energetic tension. This week, we’re stepping into two beautiful healing approaches that are rooted in an ancient and increasingly recognized understanding: the body is not just physical… it is energetic.

When energy flows freely, we often feel balanced, clear, and grounded. When energy becomes blocked, suppressed, or disrupted, it can show up as physical discomfort, emotional heaviness, fatigue, or chronic stress patterns. Many healing traditions across the world have long recognized this connection between energy flow and wellness.

Today, we’re shining light on two practices that help gently restore that flow: Acupuncture and Reiki.

Sometimes healing doesn’t require forcing change… sometimes it begins with allowing the body space to release what it has been holding. Energy practices like acupuncture and Reiki gently remind us that wellness often grows from restoring balance rather than battling symptoms.

Wizer Wellness Wednesday -
When the Alarms go off...

He inhales.

“You see? The nervous system does not wait for context. It does not gather evidence. It does not say, ‘Perhaps this is neutral.’”

He points upward.

“It assumes tiger.”

Right on cue, a smoke alarm shrieks from somewhere above.

WAAAAAAAAH.

Wizer looks up.

“I did not even burn anything,” he mutters. “It is water. There’s boiling water on the stove. Water does not combust.”

The alarm continues anyway.

He sighs.

“Some of you are living in a body where the smoke detector goes off when you make toast… or boil water… or open your inbox.”

He crouches and gently switches off one clock.

“And after a while, when the alarm never stops… you start to believe something is wrong with you.”

He sits cross-legged in the middle of the now-silent chaos.

“Nothing is wrong with you.”

He softens.

“Your nervous system is just doing its job.”

He places a hoof over his heart.

“It was designed to keep you alive.”

 loosen the shoulders, open the ears,
and let this silly Wizer music interpretation do what music does best. 🎵🦙
